OK A VERY SIMPLE UTILITY USING DPAINT HI-RES
The first thing to do is run Dpaint HI when loaded retrieve the file
FKEY.PIC.
There are 3 strips already created one as an example which can have the
names removed and rewriten. and two blanks.
The strips are in two pieces one of F1 to F7 and a smaller piece for
F8 to F10.
When cut the smaller piece will be pasted the the larger at the joining
of F7/F8.
Using the TEXT facility of DPaint insert the required description of the
function keys. eg. If using a terminal programme and key macro F1 is your
password then write "PASSWORD" into the box under F1, and so on.
In the space above F5/F6 you can place a description of the facility
using the keys eg. STARTERM V3.0
Once done print the screen - I prefer using the Okimate 20 in color
for a maximum effect.
when completed cut along the borders of the strips and paste to cardboard
if required and place in recess on the keyboard.
NOTE: HI-RES is used so as to reduce the Font size, printing is slower
but the finished item is better, have not tried MED-RES, also the colored
_ notes and "F" markers are not used, only there for your assistance.
the Color scheme of the "F" markers show what strips belong together.
Very simple so you should have no problems if you want to talk to me
good luck, DAVID MORGAN
